Ich war seit 2 Jahren nicht auf diesem Blog, aber ihr landet irgendwie hier. Mehrere hundert allein im letzten Jahr! Das hat mich wirklich überrascht – danke für das Interesse! Die Geschichte geht übrigens weiter, allerdings auf Bildbeilage – unserem Blog über eine Weltreise, die seit Mai 2014 andauert. Die folgende Fotoserie aber gehört nun einmal hier her.
I haven’t been on this blog since 2 years, but you somehow landed here. Several hundred in the last year alone! That really took me by surprise – thank you so much for your interest! The story continues by the way, but on bildbeilage – our blog about travelling the world since May 2014. The following photo series belongs on this blog though.
We are part of them
Touristen sind oft da, wo wir sind. Sie haben die selben Ideen, die selben Begehren. Sie stehen ehrfürchtig vor den selben Sehenswürdigkeiten, machen Fotos, genießen das Besondere, saugen den Augenblick ein. Sie warten auf die Abfahrt der Schiffe, werfen einen letzten Blick auf die Mitternachtssonne am Nordkap, sie laufen lachend durch den Regen. In ihnen erblicken wir uns selbst. Wir sind Touristen.
Tourists are often at the same places we are. They have the same ideas, the same wishes. They stand in awe in front of the same sights, take pictures, enjoy the specific, try to memorize the moment. They wait for the ships to leave, they take a last look of the midnightsun at the Northcape, they walk through the rain laughing. In them we regocnize ourselves. We are tourists.
